The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has created emblems for the first anniversary of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. They will be used in the Tokyo 2020 Games One Year Anniversary Commemorative Project.

Municipalities in Tokyo and municipalities where competition venues were located will also use these emblems in their first anniversary commemorative projects, and will collaborate for the development of the Tokyo 2020 Games One Year Anniversary Commemorative Project.

The anniversary emblems will be displayed at Tokyo 2020 competition venues from July to October 2022. @Tokyo 2020

These emblems will be available in the five colors (indigo blue, red, cherry blossom, wisteria, and pine) used at competition venues and city dressings during the Tokyo 2020 Games held last summer.

The Tokyo 2020 Games One Year Anniversary Commemorative Project will be held for the first anniversary of the Tokyo 2020 Games to share the significance, emotions and memories of the Games, and to build on the many legacies that have emerged through them and pass these legacies on to future generations.

The Commemorative Project will span the period from July to October 2022.
