WADA announces vacancies for 2017 Committees

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is seeking nominations for candidates to sit on its four standing committees in 2017, in accordance with its policy for committee composition and rotation.

Positions become vacant each year and WADA is inviting stakeholders to look within their respective regions and organisations to put forward suitable candidates.

The Committee vacancies are the following:

•Athlete Committee – six terms (N.B. one vacancy is a result of a resignation. The term of the vacant seat ends on 31 December 2017)

•Education Committee – four terms

•Finance and Administration Committee – two terms

•Health, Medical and Research Committee – five terms

The current composition of the Committees can be found on WADA’s website.

Submissions should include an appropriate letter of endorsement and a curriculum vitae providing full information on the candidate’s experience and expertise.
