08 Dec 2011

"The Code is a document recognized by all WADA signatories that allows for the harmonization of rules and practices in the fight against doping in sport."

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has officially launched a two-year review process for the World Anti-Doping Code that will conclude at the World Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, in November 2013.

The Code is a document recognized by all WADA signatories that allows for the harmonization of rules and practices in the fight against doping in sport. All stakeholders are invited to submit their comments, with their first submission deadline being 15 March 2012.

Stakeholders may submit their comments here: https://connect.wada-ama.org/home.php?l=en.

The consultation process will be managed by an expert drafting team composed in the same way as when the Code was last reviewed in 2006. WADA’s Executive Committee and Foundation Board will be asked to review and give approvals at various stages of the process.
