Additionally, several records have been made on the YouTube Channel in terms of comparative views. The channel was number one on 10 September in a number of categories, including “Most Viewed”, “Most Viewed – Directors”, and “Most Viewed – Partners”. This week the channel was also number one in “Most Viewed – Germany”, and number 35 in “Most Viewed – Worldwide”.

Beijing, China - The result of the women’s 5000m T54 race at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games on 7 September was withdrawn and the Jury of Appeal has ordered the re-run of the race to be held on 12 September at 9:00. The re-run of the race was decided after a crash that led to only five out of the 11 competitors finishing the race and the injury of three athletes. The Jury of Appeal made the decision after some nations filed appeals and closely examining footage of the race.

The focus during the two days of meetings was the upcoming Games, with an official update on the final preparations from BOCOG's President Liu Qi.

Beijing, China - Today, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has officially confirmed that a minimum of eight hours per day of live commentated coverage of the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games will be broadcasted onIPC's internet TV channel ParalympicSport.TV. Beijing Olympic Broadcasting Co., Ltd (BOB), host broadcaster of the Paralympic Games, will provide live signals of twelve Paralympic sports including Athletics, Boccia, Cycling (Track), Football 7-a-side, Judo, Table Tennis, Swimming, Volleyball (Sitting), Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Fencing, Wheelchair Rugby, and Wheelchair Tennis.

As the entire media team of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is now in the Chinese capital for the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, the operations are fully up and running. The Games do not begin for another four days, however the members of the staff are in place to relay as much information as possible to the Paralympic fans all around the world.
