She took up Para powerlifting at age 15 at Loughborough University in England.
Why this sport?
She took part in a talent identification event at Loughborough University. "It has always been my dream to go to the Paralympics and I was always encouraged to participate in sport. I enjoy the competitive aspect of the sport along with the challenge of always trying to be better. It has opened up so many new opportunities giving me the chance to meet new people, make new friends and to visit places I would otherwise not have seen."
