She took up swimming and handcycling in 2008. In 2016 she got involved in alpine skiing in Shenyang, People's Republic of China.
Why this sport?
A coach noticed her potential and advised her to try skiing. "What attracts me most about this sport is the feeling of freedom in the mountains and the ability to master the speed in the snow. Alpine skiing combines speed and skill perfectly. It is both exciting and elegant."
