When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up the sport at age 20 in Tukholka, Ukraine.
Why this sport?
"I was born and raised in a village in the Carpathian Mountains, where we spent all winter sledding and skiing down the mountains. A good harsh winter was always a joy in childhood, so I decided to try not only going down the hill but also cross-country skiing. There was a skiing area, that's why I chose cross-country skiing and biathlon."
