Awards and honours
In 2012 he was named Member of the Order of the Niger [MON] and received a financial reward from the Oyo State Government in recognition of his gold medal-winning performance at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London. MISSING OUT ON RIO
He was unable to compete at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro after missing the registration deadline because of his late arrival at the Games.
