Sport specific information

When and where did you begin this sport?
He first tried Para alpine skiing in 2009.
Why this sport?
He wanted to take up a sport that would give him the same adrenaline rush that he got from motocross. "After trying virtually every Para sport there is, without getting that buzz, I booked myself on a skiing course in Winter Park [CO, United States of America]. The trip was organised by a charity for people with spinal cord injuries called the Back Up Trust. I was hooked from the first day. I knew immediately that this was the sport for me and that I wanted to attempt to take it to the highest level."
