Sport specific information

When and where did you begin this sport?
She began Para athletics in 2015 in Novosibirsk, Russian Federation.
Why this sport?
"I played basketball at school. After acquiring my impairment, I did not do any sports for a long time, it was simply impossible. In 2014, I watched the Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi and decided that it was time for me to go to the gym again. I began to look for options in Novosibirsk for people with impairments. I found fencing, skiing and athletics groups that interested me the most. I met a coach, and by coincidence it turned out to be the man who had taught me the basics of basketball back when I was at school. Running and jumping didn't work out so well for me, so we settled on shot put and discus throw."
