When and where did you begin this sport?
She took up para-athletics when she left primary school and joined the Jedlicka Institute in Prague, Czech Republic.
Why this sport?
"I am not an athlete for the success, fame or medals, but because I could eventually become independent. It is to keep my fitness and to help me be self-sufficient. I have managed to do things that for others may seem very ordinary, like being able to stand and move from my wheelchair to my bed."

Her coach Pavel Martinek. "He was and is a great athlete. He was devoted to athletics and judo but had an accident which left him deaf and reliant on a wheelchair. He had to learn everything again. He worked with his body so he could do everything he did before the accident.
