Sport specific information

When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up athletics in 1995 at the Jedlicka Institute in Prague, Czech Republic.
Why this sport?
He wanted to gain more independence and be able to walk without assistance. "The turning point for me was a visit to the gym, where my friend took me with him for the first time. That's when I said to myself, 'You'll never be healthy again, but you'll still stand on your own two feet and do something in the world'. The first sport I took up was boccia. It was a wonderful feeling. Suddenly, I didn't feel useless. I had something to live for, something to look forward to. Two years later I started with athletics. Thanks to my coach and his efforts, I can now walk without support, and have represented our country at the world championships and Paralympics."
Name of coach
