Other information
TRAINING PARTNER
She has a close friendship with her training partner and Icelandic Para sprinter and long jumper Bergrun Osk Adalsteinsdottir. The pair began training together in 2019. "Bergrun is a great competitor. She's a fun character, a little laid back. But I think she is just waking up, she is not as shy as when I met her. It was hard to get a word out of her. She whispered a little bit and you had to get her to speak louder to hear. Then all of a sudden you started to see her come out of her shell. Although she is young and I am a little older, we get along really well. I think I'm sharing my experience with her and want to do everything for her to help her succeed. She can really go very far in her class." (ruv.is, 08 Mar 2020)

YOGA POWER
She felt that her increased stress levels had been affecting her performances, so she took up yoga in January 2020 and began to see an improvement in her form and wellbeing. "With everything and a lot on my back, I felt like I had stones in my pockets. I went to a course called 'I Am Yoga Nutra', and it helped me tremendously. I went to yoga in January [2020] to help me to be my best self. Others have also seen a difference in me." (Instagram profile, 01 Mar 2020)
