When and where did you begin this sport?
She began training professionally in 2015, at age 18, in Izhevsk, Russian Federation.
Why this sport?
"In 2013, Izhevsk hosted the winter sports day for the disabled, and there were no alpine skiing teams from Udmurtia. At that time, I was studying at a school for visually impaired children. And the physical education teacher suggested that I go in for alpine skiing. This proposal became interesting to me and I agreed. I did not think that this interest would pass into professional activity."
