When and where did you begin this sport?
She took up para-athletics at age 10.
Why this sport?
She was encouraged to take up athletics after competing against able-bodied peers at school. "I was doing a 100m race because my discus had been cancelled and Paralympian, Rosemary Little, was there to watch another wheelchair racer. I came last in my race but she came over to me and said 'if you can do that in your day chair, I'd like to see how fast you go in a track chair."
