Conchita Jager has been named the new Secretary General for the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Switzerland.

"I'm really looking forward to the new tasks and will do everything with the team to continue the success story of Swiss Paralympics,” said Jager.

Rene Will, President of the NPC, said: "The Board of Trustees gives a warm welcome to Conchita Jager into the Paralympic family. Her open, service-oriented personality, and organisational talents, as well as her great linguistic talents will benefit the development of Swiss Paralympics.”

Jager started as a law clerk, and worked herself up to Deputy Secretary of the insurance company Suava. The native Spaniard will join the team in Lucerne and succeeds Veronika Roos.
