The Mainhatten Cup, scheduled for May in Germany, and the Lomianki 2020 Para Dance Sport Polish Open, scheduled for June, have been postponed.

The Olbia 2020 International Competition, initially set to take place in May in Italya, has been cancelled.

The decisions were taken by Local Organising Committees (LOCs) following discussions with local and national health authorities due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outrbreak.

“World Para Dance Sport regrets the cancelation and postponement of the events but supports the decision to prioritise the health and welfare of athletes, staff and all other participants,” said Camila Rodrigues, World Para Dance Sport Manager.

“The Mainhatten Cup and the Polish Open will be rescheduled to later this year and we are in continuous communications with the Olbia LOC hoping that the event can also be rescheduled,” Rodrigues added.

The Mainhatten Cup was due to take place on 23-24 May in Frankfurt and the Polish Open on 27-28 June.

The Olbia 2020 Para Dance Sport International Competition was programmed for 2-3 May right after a course for coaches and athletes from 29 April to 1 May.

The course, organised in partnership with the Federazione Italiana di Danza Sportiva (FIDS), has also been cancelled.

World Para Dance Sport is in permanent contact with the Cujik 2020 LOC in order to receive regular updates about the status of the competition.
