Paris 2024: Blind football history will be written on Day 10

There's lots of not-to-be missed Para sporting moments still to come at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games on 7 September.
Who will become the new champions in blind football, with everything to play for in the finals between Argentina and France? Wheelchair tennis might see Japanese dominance in both men's and women's singles, with Tokito Oda facing Great Britain's Alfie Hewett.
As well as the final days for Para swimming, Para equestrian, Para cycling road, Para table tennis, Para judo, wheelchair fencing and sitting volleyball, this will be a must-watch Saturday.
Here is everything you need to know about day 10.
New champions will be declared in blind football
Blind football is already one of the biggest surprises of the Games as undefeated champions Brazil were unseated. No matter who wins the final, history will be made.
Argentina advanced to the blind football final to face France after defeating five-time Paralympic champions Brazil on penalties. France overcame Colombia in the semifinals 1-0 with a goal from Frederic Villeroux with only five minutes remaining.
France, the reigning European champions, will also have the crowd supporting them against the iconic backdrop of the Eiffel Tower.
Will Japan win again in wheelchair tennis?
In wheelchair tennis we have the possibility of Japanese dominance in both men's and women's singles.
Japan's Tokito Oda will face Great Britain's Alfie Hewett in the men's singles gold medal final on Philippe Chartier court to wrap up the wheelchair tennis competition at Roland Garros.
This competition follows the shock results with Japan's Yui Kamiji beating the Netherlands' Diede de Groot to take gold in the women's singles event.

Mega Saturday for Para swimming
In Para swimming there will be many names to watch out for. Alice Tai of Great Britain is going for her third gold of Paris 2024 in the women’s 100m butterfly S8, matched against the USA's defending champion Jessica Long, who is looking for her second title in Paris.
Also of the USA, Ellie Marks, who has four silvers so far in the French capital, will be defending her women's 100m backstroke S6 title, while Diogo Cancela could become Portugal's first ever Paralympic swimming champion if he gets gold in the men's 100m butterfly S8.
The mixed 4x100m freestyle relay 34 points final will bring down the curtain on the day as well as the Para swimming competition at Paris 2024.
Sun to set on Para equestrian over Versailles
Saturday is the last day of the Para equestrian competition at Chateau de Versailles, with five individual freestyle gold medal events. This event sees Para athletes and horses perform a choreographed routine set to music.
The Netherlands' Sanne Voets is one to watch, with a reputation of brilliant musical choreography. Ahead of the 2024 season she prepared a new freestyle to music routine alongside producer Joost Peters.

Full final day on the mat for Para judo
The Para judo competition concludes with six gold medal events. The morning's contests will set up the pairings for the medal matches.
Keep an eye out for Great Britain's Christopher Skelley, reigning champion in the +90kg, and France's Cyril Jonard, who will be looking for a home medal 20 years after his last gold in the men's 81kg at Athens 2004.
Final Para cycling road events
Para road cycling concludes with five gold medals at stake. Four will be awarded in individual road race events, and the other in the mixed H1-5 team relay.
Italy aims to successfully defend their title in the relay, while Tokyo 2020 silver medallists France will hope to go one better than three years ago, this time on French roads.

Women's finals conclude sitting volleyball
USA and China will contest the women's final for a fifth successive time, marking the end of sitting volleyball at Paris 2024.
Defending champions USA have come out on top in the past two finals but face a Chinese team who beat them 3-1 in their preliminary round match in Paris.
In the women’s bronze medal match, Brazil will attempt to secure their third bronze in a row when they take on Canada, who are seeking a first-ever Games medal.

Busy final day of medals for Para table tennis
The Para table tennis competition finishes with 12 matches. The first gold medal match of the day will take place between Ukraine's Viktor Didukh and China's Zhao Shuai in the men's singles MS8 competition.

Wheelchair fencing wraps at Grand Palais
The wheelchair fencing competition wraps up with a flourish as the women’s and men’s epee team events take place.
In the women’s competition, China will aim to retain their title and take yet another gold medal, after winning this event at the past three Paralympic Games. On the men’s side, Iraq are the world champions and France are the most successful team in the history of the event. The French team will be enjoying a passionate home crowd, but we can also expect to see tough competition from China and Great Britain.
