Aspen Snowmass, USA, 5 and 6 February 2016
At the opening World Cup of the New Year, athletes will compete to take the first snowboard-cross World Cup of the season.
Aptly named, Snowmass offers an abundance of deep snow and a vast expanse of terrain that includes 94 trails and the largest vertical descent of any resort in North America.
Made up of four mountains and two towns, Snowmass has also made accessibility a priority and provides specialist instructors and adaptive equipment for skiers.
This will be the second IPC Snowboard World Cup hosted at the resort and will feature two separate races, where US riders such as Paralympic champion Evan Strong and world champion Brenna Huckaby should all be racing.
