His wife Chan Kam Tim competed in athletics at the 1988 Paralympic Games in Seoul, winning a bronze medal in the 4x100m relay. She took up Para dance sport in 2016 and won a silver medal together with Wah Keung at the 2017 World Championships in Malle, Belgium.
