When and where did you begin this sport?
He first started skiing the winter after he lost his leg at age eight. He kept it up as a part-time activity alongside his favourite sport of wrestling, and eventually began to focus more on skiing after graduating from high school.

RETIREMENT
After 16 years on the national team, he announced his retirement in 2010. He had initially planned to retire after the 2002 Paralympic Winter Games, but continued. (usparalympics.org, 02 Jul 2010)
