Finland to stage 2017 Goalball Euros

Finland was selected host country of the men's and women's 2017 IBSA European A Goalball Championships, which will serve as qualifier for the 2018 IBSA Goalball World Championships.

The event (including classification and training days) is currently scheduled from 15-23 September. Turkey will be hoping to repeat 2015 success, when both the men’s and women’s teams claimed the European golds.

Competition venues are located in Pajulahti, home to the Pajulahti Sports Institute, one of Finland's top high performance training centres.

This place is also home to many international competitions, such as the Goalball Pajulahti Games.
