The National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Iran celebrated 100 days to go to the Opening Ceremony to the London 2012 Paralympic Games by paying tribute to the Iranian Paralympic medalists from the Seoul 1988 to the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games in a ceremony taking place in the Iranian capital of Teheran.

The ceremony, held on 20 May in the premises of Iran’s Sports Federation for the Disabled (IRISFD), was attended by high ranked national sports officials, including the Islamic Republic of Iran Vice President, the NOC President and Secretary General, and the Presidents of some national sport federations and a number of past sport officials for veterans with a disability, including ex-presidents, referees and coaches.

The celebrations saw various cultural performances, as well as video and photo presentations of Iranian athletes competing at the past Paralympic Games.
