Para athletes go on tour across Spain

Spanish Para athletes visited 13 cities in Spain as part of promotional tour for Rio 2016.

It started on 10 May in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, then continued in Sevilla, Valencia, Murcia, Palma de Mallorca, Merida, Cordoba, Zaragoza, Valladolid, Vigo, Oviedo and Barcelona, and finished on in Bilbao on 7 June.

The full Spanish delegation for September’s Paralympic Games will be announced over the first two weeks of July.

Sport fans from around the world can now buy their Paralympic tickets for Rio 2016 from authorised ticket resellers (ATRs).

The IPC’s Global ATR is Jet Set Sports, and Rio 2016 tickets and packages can be purchased on the CoSport website.

Residents of Brazil can buy 2016 Paralympics tickets directly from the Rio 2016 website.
