🌟Meet Lisa Bunschoten 🏂🇳🇱

Lisa Bunschoten was part of history when Para snowboard made its Paralympic debut at Sochi 2014. She was relatively new to the sport, but experienced what it is like to compete on the biggest stage. Four years later, she won silver at the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games.

Born with fibula aplasia, Lisa made the life-changing decision to amputate her leg—and went on to become a six-time World Champion and Paralympic medalist. 💥

In this video, Lisa shares about her first Paralympic Games in Sochi, the evolution of Para snowboard, and the challenges of returning to competition after giving birth in 2024. She’s now setting her sights on Milano Cortina 2026, where she hopes to compete at the highest level once again. 🎯
