World Para Snowboard has announced its Ones to Watch for the 2019 World Championships set to take place between 26-31 March in Pyha, Finland.

These nine snowboarders have the potential to make headlines at the sport’s biggest competition outside the Paralympic Winter Games, and full biographies are now available on the World Para Snowboard website.

Ben Tudhope (AUS)

The 19-year-old has been on fire since coming off two top-10 finishes at the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games.

Brenna Huckaby (USA)

One of the sport’s highest-profile athletes lived up to her hype in PyeongChang and remains the favourite in the women’s SB-LL1 category.

Cecile Hernandez (FRA)

Veteran holding her ground and still battling for the top of the podium, amid a new generation of snowboarders on the rise.

Chris Vos (NED)

Owns four World Championship gold medals, numerous World Cup crystal globe titles, and a Paralympic medal. He is only 21 years old.

Lisa Bunschoten (NED)

After silver and bronze at PyeongChang 2018, the Dutchwoman appears more motivated and in form to take her first major title.

Maxime Montaggioni (FRA)

Reigning banked slalom world champion is back from injury and looks to put his Paralympic disappointment behind him.

Mike Schultz (USA)

Paralympic champion and World Cup overall winner is out to add the world title to his collection.

Simon Patmore (AUS)

Made history in PyeongChang by breaking a 16-year drought for Australia when he won snowboard-cross gold.
